Pale Orchard
A cider house with no name, five apples and a limestone cellar. We named it, then let the bottles do the talking: one glaze per orchard.

Identity, film and motion for things that should not be boring. A fictional studio, invented for this demo, like every client on the page.

We make brands move.
(01) The studio
Vexfold is eleven designers, directors and animators in one long room. We make identities that already know how they move, films that sell nothing directly, and the systems that keep both honest.

(03) Index
Naming, identity and five glazes for a cider house that had none of the three.
An eleven-minute short with no dialogue, scored to the lighthouse's own foghorn.
A waveform identity with an on-air mark driven by the live broadcast.
Four hundred suspended discs that run a nine-minute sunrise on a loop.
Object, launch film and the breathing light that says it is listening.
A one-take campaign film on a sand table, and the bottle it was shot for.
Wayfinding in glazed tile for an imaginary metro: follow the colour, not the signs.
Sleeve, tour posters and a risograph system for a band that does not exist.
Forty idents from one fluid simulation, each cut to a different second of it.
One sheet of aluminium, three bends, no screws, and a cushion in a colour we made up.
A lab week on reflection shaders. It became the studio's calling card.
A warehouse floor turned into one table forty metres long. Everyone sits at it.
Nothing in this discipline yet.
(04) The process
Two weeks of questions before a single sketch. We read everything, visit the place and write down what the brand would never say.
One page: the idea in a sentence, who it is for, how it should feel. If it does not fit on a page, it is not an idea yet.
Identity, film and motion in the same room, at the same time, so the logo already knows how it moves.
On a phone, on a bus shelter, in a dark cinema, next to the competition. Whatever survives, stays.
Files, guidelines and a motion toolkit your team can actually use. Then we stay on call.
